These Cosmic Horrors are Kind of Cute is a visual novel inspired by Lovecraftian cosmic horror. Meet some of the biggest eldritch names given human waifu form for your reading pleasure.
Premise
Kai is an ordinary convenience store worker who stumbles across an eldritch puzzle box. After he unwittingly unlocks the device, an alien god emerges from it and demands to be fed!
Note
This is a very, VERY early build of the demo. Like, a demo of the demo. You will see how early of a demo of a demo I mean with all the stock music and draft images in it. But I hope it sparks some interest!

What I've seen of this game looks very promising so far. The art is really good, especially the character designs, and the characterization of Shu and Cylla are pretty compelling. I also really like cosmic horror, and I could tell you did your homework on their original mythology, so that gets points from me.
I did have one question though. When *spoilers* the protagonist and Emily find what the protagonist assumes is a hurt girl, only for her to reveal herself to be a cultist and gun shots ring out, is it supposed to cut off there? Or is there something else I should be doing to continue? I tried reloading one of my saves, knowing there are a couple novels out there that make use of that mechanic, but nothing played out any different. I know this is a demo, but how abrupt it was made me wonder if I missed something. Any advice on the matter would be appreciated!

Yes, it is being worked on slowly. I'm only a one man team with only so much disposable income. Expect it to take some time, possibly well into 2021, if not early 2022.
